Here's brief description for each group of Information.

1. 1394TA Specifications are technical specifications that 1394TA agreed on. The specifications are based on IEEE1394-1995 and derived standard.
   
   1394 TA Members can download the 1394TA specifications for free from the members' website. Please note, however, that the copy right for each specification belongs to the 1394TA. 
   
   For non-members,  please contact jsnider@1394ta.org for information on how to obtain a copy of the 1394TA specifications and Technical Bulletins.
   
   While members can download the 1394TA Specifications for free, IEEE1394 specification is a document maintained and distributed by the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE). Copies of the specification are only available from the IEEE. To order a copy, please email customer.service@ieee.org

2. Technical Bulletins do not specify mandatory requirements. Instead, they have recommendations and/or supplemental information to help you better understand certain 1394TA specifications.

3. Assigned codes in CSR Architecture shows you what codes are assigned under the control of 1394TA so far.
   Please note it shows only a top level of codes in hierarchy and you should refer to the designated 1394TA specification(s) for assigned codes under each protocol.
