This specification defines a model, data structure and command set for an AV/C Music Subunit operating over IEEE Std 1394-1995. The purpose of this document is to describe the data structures and the command set for electric musical instruments and/or professional audio equipment that have MIDI functionality when they are connected to the IEEE 1394 serial bus.
