This document defines a model and command set for AV/C Tuner subunits. This model supports a variety of different broadcast systems, including both analog and digital; it is possible to create an AV/C tuner subunit which supports several of these systems. The tuner subunit model makes full use of the AV/C descriptor mechanism, which is currently defined in the normative references below.
