FIREWIRE AND I.LINK TRADEMARK LICENSE AGREEMENTS

The 1394 Trade Association’s FireWire or i.LINK trademarks and icons must each be licensed separately for use by third-parties. There is currently no licensing fee for either. Each agreement is an Adobe Acrobat file, and contains all the information and guidelines third-party developers need to license the FireWire or i.LINK logo and icon for use on products, product packaging, advertising, exhibits and other product marketing materials.

The terms of the License Agreement are non-negotiable.

Download and read the Agreement and Guidelines for whichever logo you are seeking. If you are seeking both, you MUST complete the application in BOTH of the two files below.
[ FireWire  |  i.LINK ]

Complete the agreement(s) and fax to the 1394 Trade Association Logo Administrator as directed on the form.

Once the agreement is received and approved by the 1394 Trade Association Logo Administrator a CD containing the logos will be mailed to the address on the agreement.

MISSION

The 1394 Trade Association actively promotes the proliferation of the IEEE 1394 Serial Bus standard technology into the computer, consumer, peripheral, and industrial markets to enable a truly interoperable, standardized, universal I/O and back plane interconnect.

The 1394 TA provides members the opportunity to achieve this mission. We organize and hold Quarterly Meetings and Developer's Conferences, and attend Tradeshows and related seminars as a means by which the members can work together on the use of IEEE 1394 to expand all target markets
