CRC Verification for Configuration ROM

This technical bulletin reports a defect in an informative clause of IEEE Std 1212-1991, Standard for Control and Status Register (CSR) Architecture for Microcomputer Buses, concerning the calculation of CRC-16 for configuration ROM. Because products exist with incorrect CRC values, this bulletin recommends a work-around to be used in the verification of configuration ROM CRCs.
