New Low Priced MacBook White from Apple Includes FireWire, Upgraded Hard Drive

Apple’s introduction of its new $999, lightweight MacBook – which includes IEEE 1394 – reflects its appreciation of the role of FireWire for millions of loyal Apple users worldwide.

The new MacBook White was introduced quietly early this year, but has already been well received in the user community. Built around the Intel 2 GHz Core 2 Duo processor, the newly introduced MacBook White comes standard with 2GB 667 MHz DDR2 RAM – up from 1 GB on prior models – along with an NVIDIA GeForce 9400M graphics card and a 120GB hard drive. It also incorporates all of the popular Mac OS X software.
