1394 TA Sets Technical Seminar on 1394 Automotive Standard April 30
The Trade Association will host a special 1394-Automotive technical seminar on Thursday April 30 following its second quarter general meeting at the Dearborn Inn, a Marriott Hotel, in Dearborn, Michigan.
Entitled “1394 Automotive - The Optimal Standard for In-Vehicle Networks,” the half day session will feature details about the 1394 Automotive specification for copper cabling media. The standard was designed by leading automakers and tier 1 suppliers, and provides a single network that allows vehicle ECUs (including driver assistance, navigation, camera, safety, video, terrestrial, and telematics) to communicate seamlessly across protocol boundaries - all using one common architecture.
